20 May Pantone glamour wedding invitations styled shoot
Laurel Hall exudes romantic elegance, which made it the perfect backdrop for the recent styled shoot we participated in with Danielle Harris Photography. The historic mansion has a breathtaking charm, with each room having it’s own unique characteristics. The grounds are just as beautiful as the indoors with being perfectly manicured, making for a great outdoor wedding space. The entire venue makes for stunning photos that won’t disappoint, which is clearly evident in the photos we got from that day.
The vision for the shoot was light, airiness, romantic and glamourous. We used the pantone colors of the year- rose quartz and serenity blue- for the colors of this shoot to create light and airiness. The Solarium Room at Laurel Hall was the perfect background for the table scape to bring in an elegance to the shoot we were striving for. The table setup included crisp, white table clothes with silver charges and colorful florals to add in that pop of color.
We hand-lettered clear, acrylic menus to bring in that airiness again with white-inked calligraphy. The pantone colors of the year were shown through our invitation design and place cards. We hand painted the invitation suite with acrylic paint, heavily placing it to create a 3-dimensional texture for a unique glamorous touch. The place cards were pieces of sea glass with the names calligraphed in metallic gold.
Here’s photos for you to enjoy of our work and all of the other crazy, talented vendors from that day!
