Our Process

SAY HELLO

When deciding on a designer to work with, it’s important they’re a good fit for you, your personality and vision. We’d love the opportunity to chat to see if we are that perfect match, so first things first, say hello! Send us an email or fill out our custom design questionnaire.

SCHEDULE CONSULTATION

It’s important to us to start off by getting to know one another. We can discuss your vision further via email, phone or an in-person meeting if you’re local to the Indianapolis area. The sole purpose of our initial chat is to answer questions you have and ask specific questions about your design needs to put together a custom quote for you.

If you’re local we will meet in a chic coffee or cupcake shop, showing you samples of our work so you can see printing and paper styles in person. If you’re not local, that’s no problem at all! We will mail you a sample pack out so you can have the same experience from the comfort of your own home.

PROPOSAL & CONTRACT

Following our chat, you’ll receive a personal info and pricing proposal within 48 business hours. After approving your proposal, we will send you our contact and have you place a 50% deposit to reserve us for your design needs. Within our contract we will discuss a design process timeline that will keep us on track to meet the appropriate deadline for your wedding, event or business. 

INITIAL PROOFS

With the legalities out of the way, the creativity begins! We will start of by having you create a Pinterest inspiration board, or directly email us images you’ve come across that represent your vision. Your first round of proofs will include a few design options, along with color variations and fonts. You will let us know what catches your eye to help us proceed from there with one design to revise. At this time we will make choices in ordering materials, if applicable to your design. 

DESIGN & REVISE

During this time we will receive your feedback on the proofs and continue to revise until perfected to a finished design. You are allotted three revisions in order to keep the process timely. Further revisions can be delivered at an additional cost.  Designing and revising typically takes between 3-8 weeks, depending on the number of revisions and response time between communications. 

DELIVERY OF FINAL FILES

If printing is involved, you will receive a single physical proof to view before you give us the final approval to print. Please allow 5-7 business days for digital printing and 3-4 weeks for letterpress and/or foil stamping. Once printed, your design will be assembled and ready for personal delivery or shipment within 2-5 day, depending on quantity.  If printing isn’t involved, you will receive the final files in various formats, applicable to your personal need. Either way, once in your hands, the design is all yours to enjoy!
