29 Apr Wedding Invitation Options for All Budgets
The options for wedding invitations are endless and that’s why we love working with couples to make their process easy and enjoyable. With your wedding invitations being the first hint your guests will receive about whats to come, we start off by learning more about you as a couple and your wedding style and vision. We tie your personal details together eloquently in a unique, custom design to leave an everlasting impression on your guests.
Along with each couple’s love story and wedding style being completely individualistic, so are our couple’s budgets, which is the second question we ask. It’s important to us to be respectful of your budget and provide various options within it that still offer our custom design experience. The following are options we frequently offer to your couples, but our creativity is not limited to only these:
All of the designs we’ve created are completely custom designs, unique from ones any of your guests will have previously received. We do offer the option of utilizing one of our previously designed invitation suites and making it your own with changes to wording, colors or simple design tweaks. We provide this option for ones you may have seen on our website, social media or our coming-along Etsy account which you can check out here- Blu3 Designs Etsy Shop.
Custom, Digital Designs
For brides who still prefer an entirely custom invitation design, and not a previous design we created, we offer the option of custom, digital designs. This option is the same exact service we provide for all our custom designs, but instead of us printing your invitation suite, you will. We will set up the files in print ready format with crop and bleed and send them over to you in either a JPEG or PDF file format. We can provide budget-friendly paper and envelope recommendations as well.
Mixed Printing Techniques
Many brides inquiry with us and are interested in letterpress or foil printing, but unfortunately don’t have the budget to match these more expensive printing techniques. If you are having a formal wedding, or just want to make a bold statement with your invites, we recommend mixing printing techniques. Your wedding invitation should be the most pronounced piece, so having it letterpress printed or foil stamped and your additional stationery pieces digitally printed, makes a world of a difference in pricing. Since the paper type and coloring can differ with the printing techniques, we recommend using one particular color for your invitation and complimenting colors for your conjoining cards (rsvp, details, accommodations, etc.).
Postcard or Digital RSVP
A postcard rsvp is a wonderful option to save on the rsvp envelope cost and slightly less in postage. Our couples love this option for money saving, but also time saving reasons. We are able to print your return address directly on the rsvp postcard, which is one less task you will have to worry about! We personally favor the rsvp postcard because we can create a custom monogram on the backside, or use the back as an opportunity to utilize another engagement photo. It’s a fun addition to your wedding invitation suite, and can even be used for any wedding style, including formal. It’s all about the style and way of presenting the information that makes a design fit into a certain style category.
Many couples opt for a digital rsvp option. We live in a tech savvy world now where even our grandparents have iPhones so why not! This option eliminates a whole insert card, envelope and postage. We can add your rsvp information to a details card for guests to reply to an email address, phone number or wedding website. We highly recommend creating an email specific to your wedding, such as firstname.lastname@example.org for digital rsvp’s.
